A pleasant and soothing album, just right for relaxing in the evening. Very capable playing, all instrumental and reasonably priced. Exactly what I was looking for. Interestingly, I first heard a selection from this album on an all-music cable channel called Soundscapes and decided I had to have it. You never know where you're going to hear some great music!

Perfect for creating a lovely calming and reflective atmosphere..I love to use for getting a tedious job done,or to deal with rush hour traffic. Also like to use for painting,or just to get centered and calm. Would be great in a massage therapy practice

This cd was given to me as a gift almost three years ago. The person who gave this gift had no idea that his gift was more than just the music. My benefactor did not know the artist or the recording. He only new that I appreciated celtic music (or DADGAD chord forms) in all its premutations. Every performance on this recording is wonderful. For me, the first four tracks build up to the fifth - St. Patrick's Day Parade, which I believe is the pinnacle piece and performance. Just when you thought you'd heard the best of this artist, comes I Dream Of Her. From there, you can expect to be lulled into an false sense of security, until ensuing minor melodies shake you back -- to the Shores of Your Heart - Yes. Beautiful penny whistle and vocal accompaniments round out this recording. This one's a keeper.

Sometimes I think how easy it would be to completely miss what turns out to be a fantastic musical experience... just a haphazard chance brings a gem to your attention that would otherwise be blithley passed by. This is such a disk. I originaly borrowed this from the library because, besides being a guitarist myself, I love Irish influenced music. This has some of the best guitar arrangements I've heard in literally years...'Nuf said

I bought this record three years ago, and since then I've listened to it at least once a week. Fantastic! I didn't know what I bought, I was just picking a record that seemed to be a "soft" one, to listen to when flying to Asia. Andrew White has a great flare, and does he really play solo?? He's just one of the most talented guitarists and composers I have ever heard.

This album is truely a great piece of work by a tallented guitar player. I love the great melodies he puts together. I saw him play once in New Zealand, and a friends house (Dennis) And he was playimg a Album he released here in NZ called 'Naked Spirit' Which is a must have if you like his work.
