We own an electric glass top stove. The surface on the glass top is perfectly flat. If you get a frying pan with any curve on the bottom, your surface area of contact is diminished and will result in different heating zones across the pan. I have had many pans with a curve on the bottom. Some were bought in that condition, and some may have been hand washed too fast, while still hot. The worst pan is the "spinner". This is when the pan is bowed from the middle out and the pan will spin like a top all over the place.

I found this T-fal pan by doing a google search for the best electric stove frying pan. I read a few reviews and decided it was worth a try.

When I first opened the box, I was impressed with the weight and feel of the pan. It was not too light and not to heavy. The handle was a comfortable fit for my hand and had a good grip to it. The metal edge around the top was smooth and straight. The bottom of the pan had ridges from inside to outside which I suppose are for heat distribution. And, it looked flat. I immediatly took it to my stove and laid it on the glass burner. It was flat. I tryed pushing it around. I tried wobbling it. I pushed a wooden spatula all over to try and may it tilt. I tried to spin it. All my flatness testing were perfect. The pan is Flat!

After cooking with it for a month, I found the heat distribution is very good. It frys eggs the same color all across. I haven't tried it without a little bit of oil spray, but I use so little it is almost dry anyway and nothing has stuck yet.

The cleanup is fast and simple. I make sure I wait until it is cool of course. Use a little bit of soap, warm water, and a few swipes with a rag and it's done. Ready for the next.

My expectations for a flat pan were well exceded. Everything else was like the cherry on top. You can buy this pan and will not be dissapointed!

The handle is a comfortable rubber like grip that stays cool while the pan is in use.

It's also easy to clean. You do have to cure the pan before use by heating the pan up on low and wiping it with vegetable oil. Repeat after 10 cycles in the dishwasher. I'm not going to be putting mine in the dishwasher. It's easy enough to clean with a sponge and detergent in the sink.

Overall, I'm very happy with my purchase.

realmente es cierto, este sartén pesa mucho a comparación de otros.

el que el mango sea de silicona y no esté al borde del sartén permite no se empiece a deshacer por el calor como pasa con otras marcas.

la función antiadherente hasta el momento muy buena, aunque yo uso cucharas de silicona, lo que permite que protejas más tiempo esta función.

el único pero que le pondría yo es que la tapa es algo irregular (no se si el sartén) y no sella en su totalidad; sin embargo, se cocina bien.

sin duda el mejor sartén que he tenido hasta el momento.

I bought this fry pan two weeks ago and it is one of the best items in my kitchen. The pan is well built and very sturdy. The glass top is great to see the food as it is cooking, and it also fits my other stainless 12" pan. 

Cleaning up is a snap. After using the pan all I need to do is wipe the inside of the pan with a damp sponge towel and it is ready for the next use. Food doesn't stick at all. Clean up works best if the pan is slightly warm.

I read some of the other reviews that were not satisfactory in the buyers opinion and the only thing I can see is that they didn't follow the manufacturers recommendations to "season" the pan before first use and to keep the heat lower when cooking. How can you expect a pan to work properly when you don't follow the recommendations ?

I would recommend this pan to anyone who loves to cook with a non-stick pan.

Unfortunately way larger (diameter) and shallower than I anticipated, the heating part of my hob does not cover the full diameter of the pan base, probably only about 2\3. Said that, once the pan is hot all round it cook's great and cleans easily, I don't use soap or and scourers, generally only use paper towels to wipe down. If loads of food leftover on pan I rinse off with just hot water.
