Effective and Inexpensive, but Motion Sensor Issues

The system is easy to set up for any novice user. It's easy to use and the app is also easy to install and use. We added 4 motion cameras to the alarm system and the integration isn't as tight as I might like, but it works. By that I mean the cameras will detect and record motion, without triggering the alarm. But the motion sensor triggers the alarm even when sunlight changes. We've had to turn the motion sensor off completely, as it will detect motion in the same area a camera is placed and it doesn't show any motion, just some mild change in lighting. Still overall the system has provided a sense of security for our residence while we are away and we like being able to check status, see cameras, etc. to be sure all is safe.

We were on the fence between Ring and Vivant / ADT type company. Ring was the most honest and straight up. To go with Vivant you actually have to take out a 5 year loan in your name to be able to use the equipment. Of course the dude on the phone doesn't tell us any of that. We almost blew a ton of money and took a shot to our credit scores for Vivant. And then we decided ring might be the way to go and we've been so happy since then. It's exactly what we wanted and not too hard at all to install.
