A couple quick notes. It's absurdly easy to assemble. Contrary to a couple comments I read, I found the wheel adjustment to be very easy to use; you just pull the wheels toward you and put them in the notch you want.
We have a small garden, maybe 10 x 30. I used it yesterday for the first time for two or three hours, re-tilling some leaves into the existing garden, and breaking new ground to expand our plot. Last year, I broke ground with a front tine gas tiller I borrowed from a friend, basically a larger gas version of this tiller, so here's my comparison.
It was wet yesterday, and there's some clay content in our soil, and the electric bogged down two or three times. It just stopped turning, and there was a little smoke whisping off the motor, which made we nervous. But I simply stopped, cleaned the tines out, and let it spin free a little to clear the dirt, and it kept working just fine. That said, with the gas tiller, I never had this problem. Although the electric was surprisingly strong, the gas was definitely more powerful. My guess is that I'll end up having to do more passes with this tiller than with the gas. That said, a gas tiller is two to three times as expensive, and requires a lot more maintenance. For me, the trade off is worth it.
As for maneuverability, this lightweight tiller won hands down. Keep in mind, weight can be helpful for the tiller to sink into and break up deep soil. But, whereas I was absolutely exhausted after using the gas tiller last year, using this tiller really isn't that much harder than mowing the grass. As long as this tiller can get the job done, I would much rather use it.
There's a few reasons I gave this tiller four starts instead of five. In wet soil with clay content, the design makes it very easy for soil to collect between the tines, the top protective shield and the wheels, which ultimately leads to the tiller bogging down. I constantly had a big, clogged mass of soil and clay bunched between the protective shield and the wheel bracket. And, although I had no problems yesterday, I'd feel more confident about this tiller's life span if the wheels were more heavy duty. And, more importantly, I'd have liked it if they put heavier gauge handles on it. At times, when you're wresting with the tiller, the handle torques a bit, which makes me a little nervous about how long it will last. My guess is, I'll get several years out of this tiller, but not a couple decades, like you might from a gas tiller.
That said, I don't think the makers of this tiller are misrepresenting this it in any way. It's a great, easy to use, lightweight tiller, and it will probably meet our needs for years. While it's not suited for serious, heavy duty tilling, for the average home owner who's just gonna use it a couple times a year, it's a great solution.
UPDATE
Changed my original review from 4 to 5 stars. I've used it twice more on our garden plot, which we expanded to about 15 x 40. Second time, used it when the ground was fairly wet, and, because we have a bit of clay in our soil, it still struggled some, but ultimately managed to get through everything just fine. The third time, I added some soil amendments when we'd had a few dry days, and it worked perfectly. Really couldn't be happier. It's lightweight, easy to use, and more than powerful enough for our needs.

This motor is sooo powerful and nothing short of impressive. It effortlessly breaks through tough soil, weeds, roots and whatever else is in the ground saving me considerable time and effort with my gardening tasks. Whether I'm cultivating a new area or preparing the soil for planting, this tiller handles the job with thee absolute best efficiency.
The tilling width covers a substantial area in each pass. This not only expedites the tilling process but also ensures even coverage, creating a well-prepared planting bed.
It’s also surprisingly easy to maneuver. The rear wheels facilitate smooth movement, allowing me to navigate around obstacles and tight spaces effortlessly. This feature is particularly handy in my compact garden layout.
Operating the tiller is a breeze, thanks to its user-friendly controls. The instant start button eliminates the hassle of dealing with pull cords, and the adjustable handlebar height accommodates users of varying heights, ensuring comfortable operation.
As there are no pull cords to start there is a slight Annoyance with having to use an extension cord and having the power cord occasionally coming unplugged during operation, which can be a bit frustrating. While this doesn't significantly affect the overall performance, still 5 stars from me because overall its amazing. I will highly recommend this. I absolutely love it!
I just used it for several hours in a row on the hardest dry clay I can imagine (I literally had to work for several minutes with a hammer and chisel to clear clumps from the blades the few times it got jammed up), and it worked quite well. It did take some time and technique on the extremely hard, dry clay, but I imagine it would make short work of any other soil situation, and I probably could have saved some time by hosing down the clay a bit first.
Assembly was quick and easy, and although you should read the manual and understand the hazards of a tool designed to tear stuff up, operation is pretty obvious. I was also careful to use an appropriately sized extension cord.
There are two problems with this tiller:
By far the biggest one is the design of the handles. The part you hold is a round cylindrical shape oriented pointing away from you, and the motion of the blades makes the tiller pull in exactly that direction, so it is very difficult to hold the round handle without your hands sliding to the back of the handles, which makes you fingers slide off of the trigger that keeps it running, so it turns off. I almost immediately gave up trying to use it as designed, and duct taped some blocks of wood inside the backstop of the handles so my hands wouldn't slide back off of the trigger. I was surprised how well that worked for such a simple solution.
The second problem is in how the manual says to route an extension cord to it. There is a small square hole in the handle back, with a hook inside the handle area. The manual say to form a loop in the exentension cord (which is not included btw) and use the hook to grab the cord. However, never have I seen in my whole life an extension cord designed or able to be bent at such a sharp angle as would be required to pass a loop through the tiny square hole. Furthermore, when I tried to ignore that hole and just pass the cord through the handle to at least use the hook, the hook was such a tight fit on my 12-gauge (with ground, which is not needed for this two pronged, double insulated device) extension cord that I think it may have damaged the extension cord.
Top reviews from other countries

I find it a bit heavy for me as a women but it goes so quick that it’s ok.
Love that it’s electric so I’m not dependent on a battery charge.
I’d recommend adding a hook so the electric cord doesn’t pull out so much.
Rocks do get struck but I live in the base of the Rockies so that’s more a geographic problem. I just stop. Unplug and free the rock and on I go.
Best addition to my garden tools in years.

The advantage of this being a very small, very light tiller is a disadvantage when breaking well-grown grass and/or areas with thicker roots. When doing the breaking, it bounces all over the place and really isn't all that effective if you let it move it's natural forward direction. What I found however, is that if you hold it in spot for a bit to do some digging/initial breaking, then PULL BACKWARDS AGAINST THE ROTATION, it will cut up against the sod and it works pretty well. It's still pretty light though and any substantial roots will have it bouncing. Just ease it off and come at it again. If the root is getting to the 1/2" size, stop and take it out with an axe or spade instead.
With it bouncing around like that, it's hard to keep the trigger all the way depressed - but that's a safety feature I wouldn't remove, just would have preferred a palm switch over a trigger finger one to make it easier.
After "backing up" over the whole area (and yes, there's a heck of a bicep workout there) and the core sod broken (and raked clear), I set it a incrementally deeper and let it go forward - holding back in areas that needed more attention. The unit is so light that it'll happily "walk over" areas of strong resistance (and more roots.) When encountering those, I just pulled back over top of them (just like "vacuuming the bed") and the reverse-cutting motion did the job.
If I had a full-size, gas-powered rototiller, the job would have been quicker and with less arm work. Having said that, I don't want or need that kind of beast and now that this areas is broken up, I can use it at leisure next spring.
The thing is zero-maintenance and so light it's quite easy to store. Just needs a little manual effort to convince it (really hold it back) in the tough areas.
I haven't looked at seeing if I can selectively take tines out for ultra-thin tilling - maybe next year. It's only 16" as it is though, so likely not necessary.
Having to manage the electrical cord was a bit of a minor pain - but still far less than gas, oil, and seasonal maintenance.
Definitely a recommended buy for smaller gardens, flower beds and places where you just can't justify getting the heavy duty equipment.

This is not suitable as by my calculations this rotates it requires at least over 1600watts. A small inverter would not be powerful enough to run the rotavator. It's also a point of failure. I don't see it lasting very long. If you're from the UK / euro I would avoid buying this.
We've started the return process. We're very disappointed as it was a long wait for delivery.
