There is not nearly enough Los Incas music on CD. This has the version of El Condor Pasa on it that Simon and Garfunkel sung over. It has several other excellent songs on it. This seems to be the only affordable CD of Los Incas 50s and 60s Philips recordings. It would be awesome if they put an anthology of those recordings out on CD, and release the Festival "Original Los Incas" as well. sigh. This cd ASIN: B0047OZXQQ is unavailable now, but it has all but 4 of the "Original Los Incas" tracks on it if you ever find it. There are several Los Incas greatest hits Cd's available on amazon, expensive imports, but good. See my other Los Incas reviews for inexpensive recommendations of their Music.

Ganz schlimm finde ich "Folklore" CDs die dann voller folkloristischer Interpretationen von Rock- und Popsongs oder anderen sind, z.b. "Morning has broken" oder so ein Quark. Erstens gehen solche Experimente häufig schief und zweitens möchte ich bei Kauf einer CD mit vermeintlich südamerikanischer Musik keine solchen Titel vorfinden.
Diese Scheibe hält aber, was sie verspricht. Sehr schöne Lieder und Melodien inkl dem Klassiker "El Condor Pasa" (ohne Gesang). Ein paar Lieder sind auch mit Gesang und klingen auch nett aber schöner sind die, die man auch von den Inka Barden aus dem Einkaufszentrum kennt und viel Flötenanteil haben.
Auf youtube lassen sich ein paar Songs von der Scheibe "probehören"
