I wanted to buy a compilation of War music that had more than a handful of their hits, and this 2-CD set more than fulfilled my wishes. Yeah, it's got all the hits, but we also are given a generous bunch of cool album tracks (as others have noted, some of these are abridged versions), including some instrumentals, along with less popular, but still potent, tunes from the 1980s that some fans may have missed. Longtime fans will nitpick about missing tracks or shortened versions on this set, but overall this is an excellent overview of an excellent band, packed with songs that still sound vibrant many decades after they were recorded.
