There's a strange bit of flex in the plastic covering of the mouse that causes some vibration in the pinky side of the mouse, not a big deal but just creates an odd feeling when you squeeze the mouse (like when you pick it up to move it). Not sure if this is a design issue or just a weird thing with my particular mouse. I'd only take off a half star for this if I could, it doesn't affect the performance of the mouse at all but just is an annoying thing that can make the mouse feel "cheap" even though the rest of it is totally rock solid.
Updating this review to 5 stars, the mouse is still going strong after years of heavy use. The issues with the stiffness of the clicks and the mouse chassis feeling loose have completely gone away, I guess the little fella just needed some breaking in.
However, there are some things that I wish were different. Without the weight, the mouse has about the same weight as that of a generic optical mouse. However, due to the shape, I found that I kept lifting it up ever so slightly. I added the 10 gm weight which solved that issue. However, 10 gm felt like it was a too much. I quickly got used to it and don't even notice that it's just slightly heavier than I'd like, but I think that I would like a 6 gm weight more. The mouse seems very much geared toward office use, so the color changing lights seemed like a strange choice but whatever. However, I also game with it and works great for that. But I do find that I sometimes wish that it had maybe two more buttons. The software that comes with it is great; however, I wish that it provided a way of binding actions to multi-button events (e.g. left click + right click).
But those are all minor gripes. If I had to get another mouse, I'd get this same one again. If you plan on moving around a lot (e.g. using a laptop), you should definitely get the wireless version. However, if it's going to sit on your office desk all day every day, there's little reason to pitch in for the wireless feature.
There's 0 noticeable lag and I was proven on Linus's video, I had the DeathAdder and I'm pretty sure it was slower than this
the battery lasts me 3-4 days, which kind sucks when you have to plug it in, but it's really easy since I have the sensor adaptor on my desk, all I do is unplug the adapter and just plug into my mouse, takes 2 seconds to swap. The best thing about the battery is that it charges SO FAST. It's not like a phone where you need a long time, its a small battery since all its powering is a mouse sensor.
The mouse wheel lights up orange when the battery is under 25% or something which is nice so I don't have to always check the battery
The shape is amazing, I had the DeathAdder before and I thought I wouldn't like this as much, but I like it better.
I went from a death adder so the weight was like 3 grams heavier or something, its not noticeable to me and i like heavy mice
BEST PART: no cord
this is so amazing, I never thought that no cord would be such a good thing, but whenever i have to plug my mouse into the cord to charge it, it just feels terrible with the friction of the cord (sounds stupid but I'm so used to having 0 cord friction).
The only problem is that I have a mouse wheel rattle. I could return it and get a new one without rattle but I really don't care, it doesn't effect me. I don't want to have to go to my DeathAdder again even if its for a few days
This isn't really a problem just something weird. The mousefeet scratch alot easier than my other mice. I think it may be because I dont really care for my mousepad at all, it always has crumbs (lol ik), which scratch it, but my deathadder's feet took longer to get scratched up, mainly because I can see that the feet on the deathadder arent as good and as smooth.
I havent noticed any problems with the feet being a little more scrathced than they should, and I dont think I will see problems, and if you take better care of your mousepad and don't get crumbs you should be fine.
also, for some reason I pressed the DPI button alot and messed up my DPI, it got annoying for me so i just turned off dpi switching, thats a me problem though
Top reviews from other countries

The reason why I wasn't able to stick with wireless was because when I tried the G602 while it functioned well it did not function flawlessly and tracked irregularly and had issues with responsiveness in comparison to a wired mouse. In comparison, the G403 responds as well as every wired gaming mouse I've tried and if it isn't I can't tell. The shape wasn't terribly difficult to get used to coming from a SteelSeries Rival and took me about two days of moderate usage to get the hang of it. The sensor is similar to the SteelSeries Rival but it doesn't seem to have ANY tracking irregularities which the Rival would experience very infrequently (maybe once every 50ish hours). The battery life of the G403 is roughly 32 hours with the setup I'm using, if you are interested in getting the most out of your mouse I would personally recommend turning down the brightness to roughly 40% and turning on breathe mode with a basic color which took my lightning power usage estimate in their software from 16mA (28 hour charge) to 3-4mA for a total of 32-hours of wireless functioning.
In total, I've had to charge this mouse because it was nearing 20% charge remaining a total of twice in a month of heavy usage by simply plugging it in when I was cooking, at work or walking my dog. The charge time is roughly an hour and a half to get a full charge from 15% - 20% which is terrific considering the overall battery life in wireless mode can extend well over 24 hours of usage. The mouse also powers itself off when used for an unknown duration, I wish this was more clearly provided in terms of documentation on the power consumption page, perhaps with user settings to adjust the delay to lower or higher settings depending on a users preference.
The only downside I have is the battery life being drained by System at a rate of 71 mA, it bothers me because I don't know what is draining it, if Logitech would include what is draining it such as application integration, macros, key shortcuts, etc so people could reduce this further I would find that helpful. In all likelihood, this is just the required about of power consumption for the mouse to function and nothing can / will be done to further optimize it.
Personally, this is the first Wireless Gaming Mouse I have ever used that is completely comparable to the wired alternative, it functions flawlessly in wireless mode and has no differences between its Wireless/Wired mode other than the usage of its battery. If you are looking for a terrific gaming mouse with a great sensor and would like to avoid cable drag the G403 thus far is the best gaming mouse I have ever used even in comparison to my beloved SteelSeries Rival.

no dumb mouse acceleration, software isn't terrible and allows
customizing buttons to do different things in different programs,
adjustable dpi steps via button on top of mouse, I really only use
2 settings but can set extra ones if you want.
Have been using for nearly a year, still holding up nice, will note
that I dropped it on the floor once and the scroll wheel is now
pretty intermittent, sometimes going up when I scroll down,
or vice-versa, but hey, I dropped it on the floor so.. not the
manufacturer's fault, still works fine otherwise.. very satisfied
with it, so I also bought their G603 (same mouse design but uses
conventional batteries rather than plug-in lithium recharge, also
excellent mouse, pretty much same as this one except grey rather
than black and the battery difference)

There aren't many things that I would improve on this. The thumb buttons could be a bit smaller but they're fine. The weight could be a bit heavier, and it would be nice to have two weights to chose from in order to accomodate this. And it would be really nice to have some sort of battery life indication on the mouse itself. Firing up the software just to check how low it is, and then to see if it's done charging isn't ideal, but it isn't too bad either. An LED indication on the mouse would be better, though.
I wanted a high quality wireless mouse without all the gaming nonsense on it, and that's exactly what this is.

+Simple mouse. No BS like Heart Rate monitors etc
+Not sure I like the right hand sculpted body over ambidextrous designs like the G900.
+Mouse will last over 20+ hrs on the most consuming light settings. I don't really care about RGB.
+Mouse will standby if not in use.
+No latency during any on/off and wire connection/disconnection
+Battery life indicator on the scroll wheel. Nice.
-Weight.
At just over 100g it is still heavy after long term use compared to my old mouse that is around 90g for FPS. Yes its very noticeable.
-$$$
Its priced very well compared to the competition for the level of performance. But its still not yet a mainstream price, yet.
TL;DR
Deathadder clone but wireless.

PROS:
- Fast, responsive
- Very long Battery Life
- Looks great
CONS:
- God forbid you need support
- Will stop working and you will not have an easy avenue to fix it
