Product Description
Perfect large scale recliner that's masculine, sturdy, and strong. The design supports up to 500 pounds on a heavy-duty steel frame. It offers an extra-tall seat back and chair height for taller people, and it reclines to a full 79 inches, that is almost the length of a king-size mattress.

Customer Reviews, including Product Star Ratings help customers to learn more about the product and decide whether it is the right product for them.
To calculate the overall star rating and percentage breakdown by star, we don’t use a simple average. Instead, our system considers things like how recent a review is and if the reviewer bought the item on Amazon. It also analyzed reviews to verify trustworthiness.

First off, I'm 6'1" and somewhere around 405lbs. So many of the reviews made it seem like this thing might be too big even for me but it feels like it was a custom made recliner, just for me!!! :)
My feet/legs don't hang way over the edge of the footrest anymore! My head & shoulders don't tower inches above the top of the backrest anymore!
This IS A FIRM chair but it has to be firm and sturdy to hold up to the abuse from us fluffy guys (and gals too!). It's still comfortable and the backrest is the most comfortable part. It provides me perfect support and is the softest part of the chair.
I'm in love! We're a match made in heaven! I want to marry this chair! (don't judge, it's 2022 and love is love, right?) :)
Btw, this is the 4501-19 Rocking recliner! It rocks (if you want it to) when upright with the footrest down. It fully reclines and needs to be a little further away from the wall than the wall saver model which is 4501-190. Amazon sells that too in another listing. I got the chocolate one.
I wanted a lighter color but my mother reminded me a dark color recliner won't show dirt as much. Good ol' mother's. Gotta love em. They're so smart. Listen to your mother's people!!
This chair was a breeze to carry into the house and assemble solo! It came in 2 pieces and I'm not sure if it's 160-180lbs like the listings say. I swear the top was about 40lbs and the bottom maybe 60-80lbs but I don't have a freight scale haha. There is no additional hardware or tools needed for assembly!
Oh, did I mention that I'm disabled and on a fixed income so I probably wouldn't have normally shelled out 700+ for a recliner but Amazon offered 12 monthly payments on this recliner of around 60 a month at 0% interest?? Say what!? Sign me up!
Oh, I almost forgot. The Amazon freight delivery was the best! Fast and friendly delivery right to the porch since the box was actually 1" too wide for the front door.

This is the definition of sturdy comfortable recliner, wide enough seat that 2 grade school kids sit side by side. Or 1 husband and a dog, with the 2 cats laying on the top (cats moved before I could take the picture).
The cushion is perfect, not too much where you are getting squished, not to little where you can feel the frame. The base seat has a good amount of give, but it wont make you feel like it has collapsed. The arms are nice and strong helpful to assist in lifting your body out of the chair. The back is very comfortable, very easy to fall asleep in.
The lever for the foot rest is a bit stiff, but seeing as it needs to shift up to 500lbs of weight, this seems like nit picking.
The delivery was fun to watch, it came on a pallet. With the top and bottom separate, with a little bit of effort, we had it together. I highly recommend expert set up if you are doing this alone, or are not in good physical condition. Or if you have adult children, make them do it (I was the adult child for a second one I bought my parents).
I did buy a cover separately, and used fabric protector before use. 2 Retrievers, 2 cats, and kids, I wanted to give the material the best shot I could.
Now the chair.
IT IS JUNK. I am a big guy 6'4" and 250 lbs. That's why i bought this chair. IT's supposedly built for guys my size. Max weight 500 lbs I'm half that so i should be good. The Metal, wood and foam are all great. It's the way the mechanism is made. Its a faulty design. When you recline the chair there is too much stress on the bolt and they break. I replace the stock bolts with hardened steel bolts. they broke i Tried stainless they broke. Im about to return it but its NSD that will handle the return. Ive read reviews where it takes NDS 3-4 months to pick up there returns. Refund is also issued 14 days after the chair is back to amazon.
