Good deal at $10, if you can tolerate the chemical smell initially.
Update 2023-11-09:After airing out for a week, the chemical smell has mostly dissipated. I noticed the outside of the case no longer smells, but there is still a faint chemical smell on the inside. I presume the smell comes from the glue for the magnets.Compare to a similar case I recently reviewed, this case has softer (thinner?) tpu. It is more bendable and is much easier to take off and put on. The back is also less stiff. When I run my fingers along the back, I can feel a slight bump around the Magsafe ring.I like that the Magsafe ring is purposely off center from the G logo. This aligns to the position of the phone's charging coil. The magnets are not super strong - they are just strong enough to keep my phone on my Magsafe mount, and it's easy to pull the phone off. My phone charges fine with the case on a Magsafe car charger and a Qi pad.Unlike the product pictures, the actual case is a little less minimalistic. The back side is a sunken panel, and there's a little raised detail at the bottom. The corners have protruding bumpers with taller edges than the sides. Personally, I like these.The button covers are completely smooth. The 2 volume buttons are under a single cover. All 3 buttons are easy to push through the case with minimal resistance.The model "GG PIXEL 8 PRO" is etched on the side. There are 2 holes right next to it (for phone charms that I don't use?). I'm glad that the words and the holes are pretty subdue.I think that chemical smell aside, the case is sufficiently functional. It is a good deal at $10.
