Pretty good!
I needed a new humidifier for my plant corner and when this had a flash sale I snagged one. It's a great size and I'm guessing I'll need to fill it daily if I run it all day like I usually do. I've only had it about 12 hours but the humidity raised from 30% to 41% so I'm happy so far. I generally like to keep the humidity around 50% around my plants but I think if I turn it up I can get the humidity higher. It's easy to set up and the parts seem easy to clean. I do have distilled water that I use for my plants and CPAP so I have plenty around but I can see how it'll get expensive and tedious to carry all of those gallons of water.

The reservoir is easy to clean and so very simple that I wonder what all the fuss is about over different styles of humidifiers! I mean, I lift the top by the directional nozel (which may not be as directional as you'd like, and I'd kind of like one that didn't condense the mist quite so much but hey, it's working!), and add water directly from the top, replace the lid, and turn the thing back on. Easy as can be!
A smaller unit would blend more seamlessly into my display, but I know I don't have the time to be refilling on a daily basis. These are dark, and do blend fairly well tucked in with my plants. I also have small fans blowing to keep mold and mildew at bay (wish me luck!) Unless these suffer catastrophic failure, I can see no problem with their continued use. I do use small temp and humidity sensors scattered through my collection to keep tabs on actual levels. These units are basic and have a dial from low to high - you can't set a humidity level and expect it to be maintained, as I've seen some models offer. But then I read all the reviews on those and people seem dissatisfied with the accuracy of those units.
While I'd never pay full price for these, they are simple and, so far, reliable at adding the desired amount of humidity to my air. If that's all you want; ease of use, easy cleaning, and moist air, I wouldn't hesitate to grab one on sale or from the Amazon Warehouse.

Puts out Clouds of Mist for My Tropical Plant Corner

I bought three of these under the Used - Like New program. They all arrived with all parts, looking as if they may have been opened, but not even taken out of their boxes. I've had two running nearly non-stop for three weeks, creating the tropical environment I need for several of my plants. In Tucson, humidifiers are a must for tropical plants, and getting above 50% can be a struggle. With two of these covering a 6' x 6' space, I've got a corner that averages 65% - 70% humidity. The way I've grouped my plants and situated the humidifiers, the neighboring succulents, and low-humidity tolerant plants are at the usual 40%. I go through a gallon of RO water every two days with this setup. I like the large capacity as I'm not constantly running to refill these humidifiers. When our humidity is a bit higher on a rainy day, for instance, I can run them on low and they'll last at least three days if not longer on one gallon - that doesn't even fill the reservoir.
